The entire Nydala area offers barbecue areas and playgrounds all around the lake. There's something for the whole family year-round, whether you enjoy being active or just relaxing. How about skiing and ice skating in the winter? Swimming, picnics, and cycling in the summer. Forest walks with berry and mushroom picking in the fall, or a coffee by the lakeside in the spring sun.
Tomtebo strand will be green – from neighborhoods to forests and lakes
The neighborhood is being built in close proximity to the natural areas around Nydala Lake and the babbling Kolbäcken stream – places that are being developed and preserved as the area takes shape.
Adventure trails and playgrounds
For children, there are several playgrounds to discover in the vicinity. Closest of all is the Adventure Playground. And across the lake, you'll find the Kärleksviken bathing area and the Adventure Trail, suitable for both big and small children. Compete to see who can collect the most pinecones for the giant spider at the end.
Cycling, Walking, or Running?
Tomtebo strand and Nydala offer you many wonderful opportunities to get out into nature. Around the entire Nydalasjön, there are both roads and trails for exercising and enjoying the fresh air.
Places for peace and quiet
If you prefer quieter activities, there's room for that as well. Around the entire lake, you'll find barbecue areas and benches to relax in the sun or shade for a while. Kinabron, Kärleksviken, or Dialogplatsen, to name just a few.
Skiing, sledging or ice skating?
Tomtebo strand offers something for everyone year-round. Winter is no exception. When the lake freezes over, cross-country skiing, ice skating, and ice fishing are popular activities on Nydalasjön. Nydala also offers a 5 km long artificial snow trail.
